At Synaptic Chiropractic Center our goal is to make the most accurate diagnosis for your complaint.
Insuring a proper diagnosis will enable us to more accurately and effectively manage your care.
In some instances the information the doctors gather though the health history and physical exam is not enough to render a definitive diagnosis.
At these times certain images may be required to further aid the doctors in their evaluation process.
The most common imaging modalities we utilize are:
- X-Rays
- MRI
- CT scans
- DEXA scans
Laboratory Procedures
Another component in the diagnostic process is the utilization of laboratory studies.
In some cases the doctor may want to order a Blood Chemistry Analysis to gather more information about a given patient.
Blood chemistry analysis allows the doctors to screen for signs of infections, pathogens, and possible genetic markers for certain diseases.
The use of blood chemistry analysis is also vital for determining if any nutritional imbalances are contributing to your overall symptoms.
"Inflammation" is fast emerging as the number one driver of pain, dysfunction, and disease expression in our country.
There are specific blood tests that we use at Synaptic Chiropractic Center to evaluate our patients "Inflammatory Profile" which allow the doctors to calculate each individual patients risk for disease expression and pain generators.
